Fill in ad details and click on submit Send private message to roadburnposted on 16 May 2008 01:05 hey. we're a pair of twins, female, 18, chinese and we can play guitar, sing, compose and don't mind playing a bit of keyboards (though guitars are our priority). we're looking for bands/people to jam with for fun. but if the group chemistry is good then we might take the band thing seriously and maybe do shows in the future. We listen to most of the subgenres under rock and had experience playing emo, punk...the mainstream stuff. but we're hoping to move on to harder stuff like metalcore, screamo etc. but we're still open to other sub-genres. we can write songs so we don't mind a band that plays original stuff. we don't have experience playing gigs and live shows unfortunately...thats why we wanna gain the experience. :] yea so if anyone's interested drop us a msg or send us an email to linkinparkguildrocks@yahoo.com.sg (yea lame email add we know). cheers! Looking for a female bassist, guitarist, keyboardist and drummer to form an all girl band. I'm e vocalist. Will be playing mainly chinese rock and soft rock(vast range of songs). There'll be some pop songs(not e new ones) here and there but it can still be rock if we play it to be. We'll do Canto, English & Jap songs occasionally too.
We'll be playing gigs and progress frm there to do bigger things
Personally I mainly listen to Brit rock and J rock. Oasis, Muse, The Cure, Libertines, Placebo, Coldplay, Stereophonics, Travis, Ax7, Gackt, Miyavi, L'arc En Ciel, Dir En Grey, Ali Project, D'espairs Ray, Alice 9, Uverworld, High & Mighty Colour, Mika Nakashima(nana phase), Yui... but, we're gonna play chinese songs cuz of the gig venues.
18 to twenty somethings, with experience preferred. Actually as long as you're comfortable w your instruments, we can train together. And chinese please cuz we'll be doing chinese songs.

Bands that we cover include Creed, Green Day, Maroon 5, MUSE, My Chemical Romance, Keane, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand, RHCP, Snow Patrol, etc. Basically a wide range of music from rock to Top 40s. The band age group is between 24-26 years. We are looking for someone with a rock credo, versatile and would be comfortable performing for crowds. The band has performed for several shows/ gigs.
